admin January 9, 2015 0

Give us some background info as to who you are.

My name is Nashad Davis. I am an R&B/Pop artist out of Detroit, MI. I’m backed by MittenBoy Entertainment/Blak Glossy Records. My music is explosive. I’ve been performing since 9 years old. The first songs I recorded were “Beautiful” and “Skate With You.” My mission is to take over the music game one fan at a time.

What is the significance of your name?

For years I believed that my name meant “Prince of Peace” thanks to my pops LOL… But in recent research my name actually means unhappy. However, the second track on my project “Journey of Love” clearly states it best. I choose to be happy. We’re still going claim “Prince of Peace”.

Who is your target market?

My target market is really whoever enjoys my music. I guess if I had to pick a certain group then it would mainly be for ladies of all ages, but really the fellas can vibe to it too. I just try to make good music.

What is your USP? (Unique Selling Proposition) and what sets you apart from other artists? What is my unique selling proposition?

I don’t really know. I’m just being myself. I guess you can say I’m unique. Lol.. I think my ability to arrange songs is my niche.

What single or project are you currently pushing?

I am pushing my new hot single ”Comfort Zone” which is on my project “Journey of Love”.

What is the philosophy by which you live by?

My philosophy is “Dream Big, Love Often, and Always Remember to Laugh.” I got that on my wall. 

Which artists have inspired you?

I was inspired by Michael Jackson, Usher, Tank, Chris Brown, J Moss, Fred Hammond, The Walls Group (Love Them), and many more.

Who does your production?

My production is handled by none other but the hit makers 2Aries Productions which consist of my Uncle Blak and L. Wattz.

What is your opinion of the current state of the music industry?

I love the creativity that’s going on; I just hope that we can keep real R&B and Hip Hop relevant cause that’s where it started.

Are there any singers that you would like to collaborate with in the future?

I would like to collab with any and everybody who is making great music, but Chris Brown, Tank, and Usher are my top three.

What are some major misconceptions that you think people have of you?

I don’t think people have any misconceptions of me. I’m pretty much a open book.

What is your favorite part of your live show? How has it evolved?

My favorite part is when I get the audience involved. It has evolved in such a way that I have gotten more comfortable and confident with interacting with the crowd.

What is your album going to be like?

My album will be like the old the days when you would just pop the tape in the deck and ride to it without skipping and song.

Any final words for the people.
