Recruiters start the recruiting process as young as 7th and 8th grade some start earlier. 80% of all coaches identify prospects during or before the end of the athlete’s sophomore year.
Coaches like multiple sport athletes. They can get a two-sport athlete for the same cost as a single sport athlete. Almost 80% percent of collegiate athletic opportunities are available through division ll and lll schools, NAlA programs and juniors colleges. Communicating with coaches is the single most important aspect of the recruiting process. It should come directly from the athlete and it should come early.
